About Augustana
For over 110 years, Augustana has provided a better quality of life for older adults. Originally, it was a place for young Swedish women who needed room and board. It quickly expanded to serve others in need, including a home for older adults.

Augustana is a nonprofit Christian organization that was founded in 1896. It's one of the oldest charitable organizations in the state of Minnesota. We're recognized as a premier service provider for seniors 55 and older in the Twin Cities and outlying areas. We have over 1,200 employees and own and manage over 800 nursing home beds and 1,100 senior housing units.
 

Our facilities, programs and services supply residents with a full continuum of lifestyle choices in health care and housing. Our wide variety of locations include: Minneapolis, Hopkins, Hastings, Burnsville, Apple Valley, Dassel, Montevideo, and Fergus Falls.

Other programs and services include: Augustana Therapy Services, Open Circle Adult Day Center, Access Solutions, Table Talk Catering, and outstanding fitness centers and wellness programs.
